In July 2025, Kimberly Hogan, outgoing campus chief executive officer at CT State Middlesex, created a special fund via the MxCC Foundation.

The Hogan Legacy for Visionary Scholars Fund is dedicated to empowering the next generation of bold thinkers, leaders and change makers. Established to honor those who dare to imagine a better future, this fund provides an opportunity for the financial support to exceptional faculty, staff and students who demonstrate academic excellence, innovative thinking, and a commitment to driving positive impact in our communities.

By investing in high-potential scholars from diverse backgrounds, the Legacy for Visionary Scholars Fund aims to remove financial barriers and unlock opportunities for transformative education and students’ personal growth. There are no limits on the academic or service fields, recipients of this fund exemplify the courage, innovation, creativity and vision needed to shape tomorrow’s world.  

This fund is not just a scholarship—it’s a legacy of belief in human potential and opportunities to incentivize innovation for our future.
