On May 8, 2025, the MxCC Foundation presented scholarship awards totaling $95,000 to deserving students. They include the GEAR UP (Gaining Early Awareness and Readiness for Undergraduate Programs) scholarships made possible by funds raised at the Foundation’s 2024 Red Moon Gala. The GEAR UP scholarships provide support to Meriden high school students who began as seventh graders and are currently seniors in high school (photo below).
