The MxCC Foundation will host its annual 5K run/walk, now the Middlesex Monster Dash, on Friday, October 16, at 5:30 p.m., bringing a Halloween-themed evening of fitness, fun and fundraising to the CT State Middlesex campus.
The event will feature a 5K race certified by O2 Event Productions* along the tree-lined roads near the scenic reservoirs surrounding campus, as well as a kids fun run, trunk-or-treat, balloon animals and DJ entertainment. Costumes are encouraged!
Whether participants are serious runners or casual walkers, every mile helps make college more accessible for deserving Middlesex students. (Register for the 5K here.) Proceeds support scholarships and academic program development through the MxCC Foundation.
Medals will be awarded to the overall male, female and nonbinary champions, as well as top finishers in each division: male and female age 18 and under, 19–29, 30–39, 40–49, 50–59, 60–69, and 70 plus. Winners will be announced after the race.
Businesses and organizations are also invited to support students by becoming event sponsors. (See Become Sponsor link for details.)
Participants of all ages are encouraged to lace up, put on their costumes and join the MxCC Foundation for the Middlesex Monster Dash.
