The MxCC Foundation was honored to host an Alumni Meet and Mingle on June 5, bringing together Middlesex alumni from 1969 through 2026 along with several faculty and staff members.

Alumni shared college memories and reflected on how their Middlesex experience helped open doors to advanced degrees, meaningful careers and new opportunities.

Among them was Norman Hicks, who attended Middlesex shortly after it was founded, met his wife, also a Middlesex student, but transferred to Eastern Connecticut State University, before receiving his Middlesex diploma. Since prerequisites evolved over the years, Norman finally received his associate degree in May 2026!

Also attending was Joanne Faust, who earned several degrees from Middlesex and has works for CT State as a degree audit specialist and previously as the Middlesex registrar.
